On June 9, 2025, The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division served a probable cause search warrant at 1101 Southeast 8th Drive, Okeechobee, Florida. The suspect, a white male named Robert Daniel Chittenden, was arrested for two counts of child pornography and five counts of transmission of child pornography prior to the search warrant execution.
Chittenden is a registered sexual offender who is on probation after his prison sentence due to being adjudicated guilty of fifteen counts of possession of child pornography in November 2018.
This case is still active pending the analysis of Chittenden’s other electronic devices.
Chittenden’s bond will be set by an Honorable Judge at first appearance.
