OKEECHOBEE — Tickets are now available for the 88th annual Brighton Field Day Festival, scheduled for February 18-21, 2027, at the Fred Smith Rodeo Arena on the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation in Okeechobee, Florida.
Presented by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the event will feature the return of many favorites, including the PRCA Rodeo (Thursday through Sunday), Xtreme Bull Riding (Sunday), clothing contests, American Indian arts and crafts, and traditional native foods. Guests can also experience the Seminole Culture Camp, where a living Seminole Indian Village will be on display, offering an immersive look into Seminole history and heritage.
Entertainment will include a Friday evening concert headlined by country music artist Blake Whiten. Wielding a broken-glass vocal on self-penned songs that cut straight to the bone, Enchntmnt / Warner Records singer-songwriter Blake Whiten is a 22-year-old instinctive songsmith raised in Six Mile, South Carolina, whose talent launched him from bedroom videos to the biggest stages in the world. Revealed as a generational diamond in the rough, raw emotion and heavy-hearted lyrics have earned Whiten over 400 million global streams in two years since his first public performance, with more to come. Growing up on everything from Keith Whitley to Nickelback, Whiten learned guitar at seven and was penning angsty tunes by 15. After discovering the depths of his raspy vocal, a cover of Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” racked up 9 million views and sent him down a new path. His solo-written 2024 single “Rollin’ Stone” amassed over 140 million streams and his co-write on Bailey Zimmerman’s “Holding On” broke the Top 40 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The self-penned 2025 EP debut Six Mile captured his essence, while Billboard, SiriusXM, Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Country Now, Holler and All Country News have lined up in support. After headlining his Rollin’ Stone Tour and making his Grand Ole Opry debut in early 2026, Whiten released his first album, Something To Say, featuring 12 co-written songs that pair his confessional instincts with pitch-black alt-rock intensity. The album debuted on the Billboard 200, while Whiten marked release day with his morning television debut on NBC’s TODAY. Fresh off Bailey Zimmerman’s Different Night Same Rodeo Tour and multiple stadium dates with Morgan Wallen, he takes his sold-out headlining Something To Say Tour on the road this fall.
Country music superstar Cole Swindell will headline Saturday evening. Swindell, who Rolling Stone has called “a proven hit-maker,” has solidified himself as a hit songwriter, recording artist and headlining performer over the past 12 years. The debut single, “Forever To Me,” from his fifth studio album, Spanish Moss, became his 13th No. 1 single as an artist and 14th as a songwriter. 12 of Swindell’s 13 No. 1’s are certified Platinum by the RIAA with three being 3x Platinum (“Chillin’ It,” “You Should Be Here” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”) and two being 2x Platinum (“Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Break Up In The End”).
Swindell, who The Tennessean called a “hard charging competitor armed with a mastery of the art of the craft, tirelessly looking for ways to improve his work” charted three back-to-back, Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 hits off his fourth studio album, Stereotype: “Single Saturday Night,” “Never Say Never” (with Lainey Wilson) and the five-week 3x Platinum chart-topper, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” that garnered three ACM Awards for Single of the Year and Song of the Year (as songwriter and artist), an iHeart Music Award for Country Song of the Year and received a nomination for Musical Event of the Year for the duet remix with Jo Dee Messina at the 57th CMA Awards.
Swindell and his wife recently welcomed their first baby, Rainey, inspiring the release of his viral single, “Girl Dad.” The track recently impacted airwaves, notching No. 1 most added at Country radio and marking Swindell’s highest career add day to date. Swindell’s most recent release, “Bronco,” is an infectious, feel-good anthem Swindell is best known for creating.
The event will also feature Native dance troupes from neighboring tribes, storytelling, additional musical performances, alligator wrestling, and wildlife presentations.
Advance tickets may be purchased online only via TicketWeb (www.ticketweb.com/events/org/391363) as well as at the gate during the event. There are no other online retailers.

About Brighton Field Day Festival
Brighton Field Day started in November of 1938. William and Edith Boehmer, two teachers who were residing on the Brighton reservation, got the idea to start a “day of fun.” It initially was meant to be a day for Tribal community members to visit, but now thousands of visitors join Seminole Tribal members in this annual celebration.
