This National Dog Day (Aug. 26), K9s United marks a major milestone – 10 years of serving and protecting America’s four-legged heroes – and invites Florida drivers to celebrate and give back by ordering a K9s United specialty license plate.
These plates don’t just show off a driver’s love for dogs, they directly help fund essential training, equipment and support for hardworking police dogs.
A Decade of K9 Impact
Founded in 2015 after the loss of K9 Baron, K9s United has spent 10 years working hand-in-paw with law enforcement agencies to provide crucial support for K9 units, including needed equipment, advanced training and legislation to protect these selfless working dogs as they serve their communities on the front line.
With no federal funding for these brave dogs, the specialty license plate helps fill the gap – and gives the community a simple, visible way to contribute.
