• Glades Day Gators (2-1)
The Glades Day Gators played another solid game last week with their 34-15 victory over Jupiter Christian. The Gators pulled away in the third quarter, leading 14-7 when Dylan Wilkins connected in the end zone with his receiver to go up 21-7. Up next the Gators host the 1-2 Boca Raton Christian Blazers at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 in Belle Glade.
• Clewiston Tigers (2-1)
• Okeechobee Brahmans (3-1)
The Okeechobee Brahmans continued their hot streak with a 21-6 win over the Sebastian River Sharks on Oct. 2. After a slow start the Brahman offense lit up the scoreboard in the first half, scoring three touchdowns. The Okeechobee defense found its footing as well, keeping the Sharks out of the end zone all night. Next the Brahmans will battle for control of 6A District 11 on the road against the Fort Pierce Westwood Panthers at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9.
• Moore Haven Terriers (0-1)
The Moore Haven Terriers are back on the practice field for the first time in nearly three weeks after a brush with COVID-19 caused the school to cancel or postpone all sports. With the original schedule now wrecked, Terrier coach Brent Burnside is currently looking into getting a new game scheduled for next week. If a team isn’t found for next week, the next Terrier game could be when they face the Glades Day Gators on Oct. 23.
