CLEWISTON- The Clewiston Police Department recently announced a search for certified police officers and/or recently retired law enforcement officers who are interested in full-time or part-time patrol officer positions.
According to CPD's announcement, "Full-time wages start at $17.84/hour. That figure increases after the probationary period."
The Clewiston Police Department also explained they offer a Defined Benefit Plan, by way of the Florida Retirement System, where "each member contributes 3% of their salary with full vesting in 8 years, along with comprehensive medical benefits."
All candidates must successfully pass a background investigation and a medical examination, including drug screening.
