TAMPA — Florida drivers are finally seeing relief at the gas pump after a sharp run-up in prices last month. The state average has fallen 34 cents per gallon in the past nine days as oil prices retreated from recent highs. The decline is saving drivers roughly $5 to $7 per fill-up compared to prices seen just over a week ago.
Sunday's state average of $4.08 per gallon is the lowest in nearly four weeks and:

Oil Prices Declined Nearly 10% in Two Weeks
Crude oil prices declined nearly 10% in the past two weeks as concerns about global fuel supplies eased. The G7's decision to release 100 million barrels from emergency reserves, along with improving oil exports from the Middle East, helped calm supply concerns. As a result, crude fell from above $100 per barrel in mid-September to $91.11 on Friday.
