AguaCulture to host public meeting

OKEECHOBEE -- AguaCulture, in coordination with Florida Department of Environmental Protection, will host a public meeting on Tuesday, July 14, at the Seminole Brighton Reservation Veterans Building, 800 E. Harney Pond Road on the Seminole Brighton Reservation in Glades County.

Complimentary dinner will be provided. The meeting is open to the public. All interested residents, property owners, stakeholders and community members are invited to attend.

The AguaCulture project is one of five projects funded by FDEP to use different technologies to remove nutrients and/or muck from Lake Okeechobee.
