CLEWISTON- Beef O’ Brady’s in Clewiston has now been serving customers in the area for 20 years.

Co-owner Kevin Patel grew up in the area and took over the restaurant shortly after 2020 when the covid pandemic disrupted the industry. Patel says the restaurant was making about $1 million in gross sales every year before the pandemic under the previous owners. After taking over, sales increased to $1.5 million. And every year since, Beef’s in Clewiston has had steady growth.

Patel says they’ve been able to do that by maintaining food quality, and making sure service is done right, adding that they’ve been thankful of the support in Clewiston and have been supporting local recreation teams in Hendry County.

“I grew up in Clewiston,” said Patel. “Giving back to the community is something I always wanted to do. We love doing donations to the high school spirit night, giving to the Clewiston Cougars, the baseball teams, all that stuff.”

Patel says Beef O Brady’s in Clewiston was recently modernized to enhance its family-friendly atmosphere. He wants it to remain a beloved spot for families, sports fans, and community gatherings for years to come.

“We love giving back to the community,” Patel explained. “Some people ‘oh let the big corporations do the donating, we can’t afford it as a small business’ and I disagree. You can give $10,000 in donations and it will help. And that ten grand is going to come back to you when people from the community come out to eat.”
