OKEECHOBEE -- The Okeechobee Citizens Recreation Association (OCRA) 10 and Under Angels Softball Team was recognized at the Aug, 20 meeting of the Okeechobee County Board of Commissioners.
The team and coaches just completed a very successful winning season earning a position at the Dixie Softball State Tournament in Marianna; then moving on to the Dixie Softball World Series Tournament in Belleview.
Although the team hard and was not successful with a Championship, this team was awarded the "Sportsman Award" at both the Dixie State Tournament and Dixie Softball World.
Team manager is Justin Rodriguez. Coaches are Erena Billie and Adam Marsh, Players are: Addison Deschamps, Aubree Marsh, Brinsley Carver, Juliana Hernandez, Galileah Betancurt, Lilly Burnsed, Mahala Bishop, Ja'onna Jones, Jaylin Rodriguez, Jackalynn Tyson, Peyton Johnson, and NohEa Collins
