DEP offers webinar for new Florida Forever applicants

Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of State Lands will host  a webinar on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Applications for Florida Forever’s 2026 Cycle One are due Oct. 15. To assist new applicants, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Division of State Lands is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, Sept. 16, to explain the application process and answer questions about requirements, goals and selection criteria.

Florida Forever is the state’s premier program for acquiring conservation and recreation lands. As a willing-seller program, the first step for a new project or boundary amendment to be considered for acquisition is submitting an application.
