Over the last several months Willis worked at the HCSO Administrative building and served in several capacities from law enforcement work to covering lunches.

"Everyone who has worked with Jack over the years and recently will tell you he is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and he’ll make you laugh," states the HCSO Facebook post. "His daughter Amanda Nelson has supported the Sheriff and this agency throughout the years, often bringing homemade snacks for her dad’s co-workers to enjoy. She has been a blessing to her father and the agency. The agency extends a thank you to Amanda Nelson.

HCSO would like to say to to Deputy Wilis, "We commend you for your professionalism throughout the years and honor you for being such a great asset to our agency."
