OKEECHOBEE – HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 386 cleanest hospitals in the United States. This honor is based on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) five-star rating for cleanliness, reflecting top marks from patient surveys conducted between October 2023 and September 2024.
The recognition comes during Environmental Services Week, a time dedicated to celebrating the vital contributions of Environmental Services (EVS) professionals in healthcare. At HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital, cleanliness is more than a standard—it’s a cornerstone of patient safety and comfort, directly supporting the hospital’s mission to deliver an exceptional care experience.
“We’re incredibly proud of our Environmental Services team,” said Brian Melear, CEO of HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital. “Their dedication to maintaining a clean and healing environment is essential to the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and volunteers. They truly embody our mission: above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.”
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital extends its sincere gratitude to its EVS team for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to excellence.
