BELLE GLADE — Healthier Glades, a Palm Health Foundation Healthier Together initiative, is inviting residents, grassroots groups, and new nonprofits to take part in a free five-week workshop series designed to prepare first-time applicants for the Healthier Glades Mini Grant.
The initiative empowers the Glades community through its Mini Grant Program by investing in promising programs to promote health, wellness, and youth engagement. Healthier Glades has awarded over $140,000 in mini grants to 52 residents and organizations fostering lasting community impact since 2019.
To be eligible for Healthier Glades 2026 Mini Grant, applicants must attend at least one workshop. Those who complete all five workshops in the series will have a better chance of being awarded the full grant amount if selected.
Eligible applicants include:
• Glades residents (Belle Glade/Canal Point/Pahokee/South Bay) who have never applied for or received a Healthier Glades Mini Grant;
• Grassroots groups without a 501(c)(3) designation;
• Nonprofits that are less than two years old;
• Youth ages 12-18.
