CLEWISTON — On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Hendry Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is proud to announce the addition of David A. Rubins, MD, a new local Hendry County resident, to its medical staff. With over 33 years of experience in orthopedic medicine, Dr. Rubins brings exceptional skill, compassion, and a strong commitment to advancing orthopedic care in Hendry County.

Dr. Rubins earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and has built a distinguished career specializing in the treatment of conditions such as arthritis, knee and hip replacements, shoulder injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. For the past five years, he has practiced joint replacement surgery and general orthopedics at several Manatee County hospitals where he was recognized for his expertise and dedication to patient care.

In addition to his impressive professional background, Dr. Rubins is a devoted husband, father (to both humans and fur babies), and proud grandfather. Now as a new resident of Hendry County, he is looking forward to not only growing HRMC’s orthopedic program but also becoming an active part of the local community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Rubins to HRMC,” said David Theroux, CEO. “His extensive experience and patient-centered approach will allow us to expand our orthopedic services and provide even greater care to the residents of our community.”

Dr. Rubins shared his excitement about the move: “I’m looking forward to building the orthopedic program here at HRMC and enjoying everything Hendry County has to offer. It’s an honor to join such a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.”
