OCFR responds after citizen struck by lightning

OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee  County Fire Rescue  responded to a property on Northeast 112th Street at approximately 3:15 p.m. after a man was struck by lightning. Fire rescue personnel arrived on scene, provided emergency medical care, and the patient was transported by Saint Lucie Air Rescue as a trauma alert to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. 

No additional information is available at this time.
