The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
Steven Boodhan, 31, U.S. 441 North, was arrested April 20 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with possession of fentanyl and driving without a license. Bond was set at $11,000.
James Vanover, 56, Northeast Eighth Avenue, was arrested April 21 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Peterpaul and charged with trespassing in a structure or conveyance and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $3,500.
Jacinto Lopez, 26, Southeast 33rd Terrace, was arrested April 21 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Peterpaul and charged with battery, hindering contact with law enforcement and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $5,500.
Marquise Lewis, 36, Northeast 18th Terrace, was arrested April 19 by OCSO Deputy Noah Jones and charged with felony battery. Bond was set at $10,000.
Larry Lutjen, 33 Northwest 102nd Street, was arrested April 22 by OCSO Deputy Dylan Abdelquader and charged with three counts battery, one count abuse of the elderly assault and child abuse. Bond was set at $19,000.
Noah Osborne, 28, Southeast 34th Avenue, was arrested April 21 by FWC Officer Dillan Hudson and charged with tampering with evidence, violation of probation, violating a FWC rule, operating a vessel without a hull ID displayed, failure to register a vessel and two counts hunting or possessing a firearm on Water Management District land. Bond was set at $2,500.
Richard Daugherty, 64, Northeast Third Circle, was arrested April 24 by OCSO Deputy Brady Rogers and charged with premeditated first-degree murder. He is being held without bond.
Jeffrey Griffin, 32, homeless, was arrested April 24 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and petit theft. Bond was set at $10,250.
Kenneth Nail, 55, Port St. Lucie, was arrested April 25 by OCSO Deputy Mark Wright and charged with introducing contraband into a detention facility and possession of Alprazolam. Bond was set at $12,500.
David Morton, 68, Port St. Lucie, was arrested April 22 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $2,000.
