The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Amanda Jones, 45, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Dec. 29 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana resin, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule III drug. Bond was set at $16,000.
• Mequell Smith, 47, at large, was arrested Dec. 26 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Amanda Gibson, 45, Vero Beach, was arrested Dec. 26 by OCSO Deputy Isobel Jean and charged with assault on law enforcement, battery on law enforcement, resisting an officer with violence and trespass. Bond was set at $6,000.
• Gregory Nelson, 34, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Dec. 26 by OCSO Deputy Todd Addington and charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $20,000.
• Daniel Phillips, 25, Northwest 11^th Street, was arrested Dec. 29 by OCSO Deputy A. Rhodes and charged with battery, child abuse, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $8,500.
• Emma LaFever, 18, Saint Cloud, was arrested Dec. 29 by OCSO Deputy Mark Wright and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,150.
• Leonel Sainz Rojas, 31, Kissimmee, was arrested Dec. 25 by FHP Trooper L. Resto and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing. Bond was set at $500.
• Anthony Waller, 19, Lake Placid, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO Deputy A. Ziegler and charged with firing a missile (eggs) into a dwelling, vehicle or building. Bond was set at $7,500.
• Michael Hernandez was arrested Jan. 6 and charged with DUI.
• Timothy Burke, 50, Northeast 40^th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 30 by OCSO Deputy Karson Reno and charged with tampering with evidence and trafficking in methamphetamine. Bond was set at $110,000 with a GPS monitor.
• Joseph Thornton,31, Northwest 92^nd Court, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with grand theft auto. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Stetson Javon Hall, 32, Southeast 24^th Street, was arrested Jan. 1 by ONTF and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving damage and three counts child neglect. Bond was set at $7,750.
