The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• William Bussey, 51, at large, was arrested March 3 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Darrell Nettles, 56, at large, was arrested March 4 by OCSO Deputy Gabe Greseth and charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and introduction into a detention facility. Bond was set at $65,500.
• Jaylen Venters, 19, Northwest 32^nd Avenue, was arrested March 5 by OCSO Deputy Mark Wright and charged with two counts aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, intentional child abuse, felony criminal mischief, unarmed burglary, kidnapping, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, driving without a license, reckless driving with property damage and attaching an unassigned license. Bond was set at $526,500.
• Brittany Palmer, 41, Northwest 35^th Avenue, was arrested March 8 by OCSO Victor Cabrera and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury. Bond was set at $3,500.
• Nicholas Cartagena, 18, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested March 9 by OCSO Deputy K. Lowe and charged with robbery with no weapon and battery. Bond has not been set.
