The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
Tricia Maxey, 52, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested June 30 by OCSO Deputy K. Lowe and charged with battery on a medical practitioner. Bond was set at $5,000.
Michael Watson, 33, Northwest 21st Lane, was arrested June 26 by ONTF and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, sale of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to sell. Bond was set at $87,000.
Walter Bridges, 76, Southeast 23rd Avenue, was arrested June 29 by OCSO Deputy M. Wright and charged with battery on a person 65 years or older.
James Carnley, 33, Northeast Second Street, was arrested June 30 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with two counts forgery, two counts uttering a forged instrument and one count grand theft. Bond was set at $25,000.
Michael Waller, 47, Southeast 40th Avenue, was arrested June 26 by ONTF and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. Bond was set at $87,000.
Cameron Haynes, 39, State Road 78 West, was arrested July 3 by OCSO Deputy C. Chagnon and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $20,000.
Broderick Dixon, 88, Northeast 168th Street, was arrested July 1 by Detective J. Vohs of the Inspector General’s Office and charged with attempted murder.
Anthony Bormuth, 38, Northeast 106th Street, was arrested July 3 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with possession of methamphetamine, introduction of contraband into a detention facility, knowingly driving on a suspended license and obstruction without violence. Bond was set at $5,650.
Asa White, 45, West Palm Beach, was arrested July 6 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Cabrera and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim between the ages of 12 and 16. Bond was set at $35,000.
Jackie Rediker, 35, Northeast 10th Street, was arrested July 2 by OCSO Deputy J. Reyna and charged with failure to register a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, driving without a license and battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $15,000.
Patricia Regan, 57, Southeast 36th Avenue, was arrested July 8 by ONTF and charged with tampering with evidence, possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $21,000.
Michael Phillips, 56, Big Okee RV Park, was arrested July 7 by OCSO Deputy L. Merlino and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was released on his own recognizance.
Alexander Haaka, 26, Northwest Eighth Avenue, was arrested July 10 by OCSO Deputy Kyle Lowe and charged with reckless driving, fleeing without regard to safety, leaving the scene of an accident involving damage and operating a vehicle at speeds above 100mph. Bond was set at $18,000.
Kandice Reeves, 38, Southeast Fourth Avenue, was arrested July 9 by OCSO Deputy G. Harden and charged with battery on a person 65 years or older. Bond was set at $10,000.
Rolando Pelayo, 20, Northwest 46th Avenue, was arrested July 7 by ONTF and charged with possession of marijuana resin, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $3,500.
