LABELLE — At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Monday, May 18, Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the Mira Verde Community in LaBelle.
Once on scene, deputies were able to immediately take one suspect into custody. The suspect has been detained. and the suspect’s name is not being released at this time. This is an active ongoing investigation.
HCSO will provide updates as they are made available.
