BELLE GLADE — Christian Cisneros of Pahokee was sentenced on September 19 to life in prison after a jury of his peers found him guilty of the 2022 murder of Andrew Castellano. The shooting took place in the parking lot of Pioneer Park.
Cisneros’ brother, Johan Fonseca, was also arrested and was found guilty in Sept. 2023. Fonseca was charged with second-degree murder, as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Fonseca was sentenced to 50 years in prison followed by five years in prison. He was a minor at the time of the shooting.
The shooting took place during an attempted robbery by two masked men, later identified as Cisnero and Fonseca.
In addition to life in prison, Cisnero was sentenced to concurrent terms of 15 years and five years for attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
