We are proud to announce that the Planning to Protect the Florida Wildlife Corridor webinar series returns this fall for its third consecutive year.
The Florida Wildlife Corridor is a visionary 18-million-acre network of interconnected lands and waters that affords critical ecosystem services. This year’s series digs deeper into innovative strategies to help define the corridor’s future.
From an in-depth look at payment for ecosystem services, to transect planning and connectivity approaches that help communities minimize development impacts at corridor boundaries, presenters will share implementation considerations and next steps for planners, advocates, and public officials working to advance protection of the Florida Wildlife Corridor.
We extend special thanks to the University of Florida Center for Landscape Conservation Planning, Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation and Live Wildly Foundation for their financial support and project guidance for this series, and to Florida Conservation Group, Florida Smart Agriculture, and Solutions from the Land for their partnership.
These webinars are free, but registration is required. Don’t wait, sign up today!
