Public invited to Great Florida Cattle Drive auction

Posted

OKEECHOBEE – The Live and Silent Auction on the final night of the Great Florida Cattle Drive is open to the public.

As the drive comes to a close, the camp comes alive with tradition, fellowship and the spirit of Florida’s ranching heritage. This is more than an auction. It’s a celebration of the trail, the people and the legacy that keeps this history alive.

The auction will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at the Great Florida Cattle Drive campsite on South Florida Water Management District property off Northwest 50th Drive (Hilliard Road) in Okeechobee County. (Approximately three miles off U.S. 441 N. Watch for the signs.)

The live and silent auctions start at 6:30 p.m. The gates will open at 5 p.m.

NOTE: Please eat before you come or bring your own refreshments.  There will not be any food available for the public.
