OKEECHOBEE — Every year Everglades Elementary School hosts its Pumpkins On Parade event. Sstudents are asked to decorate a pumpkin as one of their favorite book characters. The pumpkins are then displayed in the media center. Students and parents get a chance to see the winners and all of the other beautiful pumpkins at the Trick-orTreat event. This year the event took place on Thursday, Oct. 27. To see the rest of the pumpkins visit Everglades’ Facebook page at facebook.com/evergladeselementary (Photos courtesy Everglades Elementary School)
