Sponsors sought for Halloween Extravaganza

OKEECHOBEE -- Plans are underway for the 2025 Halloween Extravaganza at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center, presented by the DeBerard Family Foundation and United Way of St. Lucie and Okeechobee Counties.

Businesses, organizations and individuals who wish to host a booth at the event or request more information should contact Madeline at the DeBerard Family Foundation, 772-286-1000 ext. 225 or email Madeline@deberardfamilyfoundation.org.

Participants are asked to

  • Provide at least 2,500 pieces of candy (more will be provided when you run out).
  • Have your booth set up and ready to start handing out candy no later than 5 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31.
  • Remain set up until 8:30 p.m. when clean up begins.
  • Provide your own table and chairs and help with clean up.

The Free Halloween Extravaganza will be held Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center, 4601 State Road 710.

Financial sponsors are also sought for the event. Any funds left over from the event will be donated to Healthy Start of Okeechobee.

Emails with application forms have been sent to those who participated in the 2024 event.
