The deadline to submit comments is Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. All comments must be emailed to DupuisMgmtAreaPlan@sfwmd.gov.

This ten-year plan will guide the District’s management of the DuPuis Management Area, including land stewardship, public use opportunities, infrastructure maintenance, and natural resource protection.

The management area extends from State Road 76 in southwest Martin County to approximately six miles into northwest Palm Beach County, between Beeline Highway (SR 710) and US 441. It is located approximately two miles east of Port Mayaca and Lake Okeechobee, and 40 miles northwest of West Palm Beach.
