Teachers learn new skills

ORLANDO/TAMPA -- Some teachers from Okeechobee schools attended the the AVID Summer Institute in June, where they focused on practical strategies that help students become confident, independent thinkers while strengthening college and career readiness across every classroom. Some attended the event in Orlando and some attended the event in TAMPA. The AVID Summer Institute (SI) experience is designed to help educators get the most out of their journey by sparking fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and impactful strategies.
