Dear Editor,

I am writing to thank the kind woman in a red car on NW 42 Ave who went out of her way, on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 3, to notify me that some of my animals had escaped due to the flooding.


Thanks to her selflessly taking time out of her day to give me an early heads-up, my wife and I were able to round up the frightened critters, repair the breach in the enclosure, and return them all safely to their pastures. Her actions prevented what could have been a serious or stressful situation for the animals and my neighbors. My hat goes off to her.

If she would choose to stop by sometime, we would very much like to give her a small token of our appreciation. Ma'am, thank you again for your watchful eye and your prompt alert. I am very grateful.
