The  Glades Central  Class of 1984 Reunion is planned for June 1, at 6 p.m. in the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Belle Glade. Reunion Committee  Chairs shared this message:

Dear Glades Central Community High School Class of 1984,

As we come together to celebrate the 40th reunion of the Glades Central Community High School Class of 1984, it is with immense pride and heartfelt joy that we reflect on the legacy and accomplishments of our alma mater.

Glades Central class of 1984 has long been renowned for its powerhouse and elite football players, producing athletes who have excelled at the highest levels. However, our school's tradition of excellence extends far beyond the football field.

Over the years, Glades Central’s class of 1984 has nurtured some of the world's finest students, who have gone on to become distinguished doctors, lawyers, chancellors, mayors, actors, educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs, alongside our celebrated professional football players. This diverse array of successes highlights the exceptional education and strong community support that Glades Central provides.

Moreover, class of 1984 commitment to community service and social responsibility is unparalleled. Glades Central class of 1984 has provided various scholarships to deserving students, enabling them to pursue their dreams and achieve academic excellence. Our class has engaged in countless acts of service, including participating in the Great American Cleanup, registering voters, volunteering many

hours in schools, and serving less privileged citizens. These efforts embody the spirit of giving and civic duty that we hold dear.

As we reconnect and reminisce about our high school days, let us celebrate not only our personal achievements but also the collective impact we have made as a community. Each one of us has
contributed to upholding the proud traditions of Glades Central, and it is this shared legacy that we honor today.

Thank you to everyone who has helped organize this special event and to all who have traveled from near and far to be here. Your presence is a testament to the enduring bond we share as Glades Central Raiders. Thank you, Tri-Citi Mayors, Elected Officials and Community Leaders, for joining us on this joyous occasion.

Here's to celebrating our past, cherishing our present, and looking forward to a bright future together.
