Lou Elliott gives update on Streamline internet

Posted

LABELLE — CEO and Founder of Streamline Internet Lou Elliott delivered an update on the progress being made with the wireless towers they plan to construct to ensure a broader coverage area, at the March 24  meeting of the Hendry County Commission.

Of the nine towers that need to be constructed for the program, five are constructed and fully operational, including Felda, Port LaBelle, the jail, and the EOC. Elliott promises that the towers at Pioneer Plantation and the shooting range are very close to completion.

The next site they will break ground on will be Wheeler Estates in May. It should be fully operational in August, followed by the Fort Denaud Cemetery tower.

If the community is wondering what the cost of Streamline service will look like, he wants the Hendry County residents to know that it won’t be that bad.

Streamline will offer several options including those for a fixed income and some of the current plans right now are as low as $65 a month with others at $85 and $105. Streamline also promises that it will never raise the price on existing customers.

“Once you are locked in on a price,” Elliot said. “That’s your price for life.”

Streamline is owned and operated in Southwest Florida. To learn more about Streamline you can visit their website at streamlineisp.com/
