The South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection and Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services are hosting a public workshop to highlight the exciting work underway in the Northern Everglades and provide the public with the opportunity to help shape future planning efforts.
The Northern Everglades and Estuaries Protection Program (NEEPP) continues to advance important projects that support water quality improvements, ecosystem restoration, and the long-term sustainability of the region’s communities and working lands. The Northern Everglades watersheds include the Lake Okeechobee watershed and the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie River watersheds.
