The purpose of the study is to identify the need to provide continued flood risk management (FRM) to reduce the most immediate risk to the C&SF Project due to changing conditions including sea level rise, change in weather patterns, land development, and population growth in the lower east coast of Florida in Miami-Dade County. The FRM measures being evaluated include a combination of structural, non-structural, and natural and nature-based features.
