Arrest made in connection with Immokalee burglary

Angel Perez, age 21, was arrested Saturday, January 6, 2018 following a burglary at Crestview Park Apartments in Immokalee.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Perez is accused of stealing several items valued at over $7,400 which includes two handguns, cash, a diamond plated necklace, an Armani watch, and a gun case. Perez later sold the items at Capital Pawn and after deputies confirmed the sale took place, he was charged with burglary, dealing in stolen property, grand theft of a firearm, grand theft, and defrauding a pawnbroker. Perez was previously arrested in 2016 for driving without a license. His bail is set at $50,000 and his next court appearance is set for January 29, 2018.
