Boy Scout Wilson Joseph, Immokalee Troop 65 reporting for our 2,000 mile out of state trip to Mount Hope, West Virginia! My buddies and I have never been to this Boy Scout camp before. This is something totally different and new for us and all Scouts across the country. We are the very first Boy Scout Troop in Southwest Florida to attend the James C. Justice National Scout Camp at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. When we arrived there, we could choose from many programs like BMX Bike course, archery, rock climbing, mountain skateboarding and tons of water sports just to name a few. The Summit is the biggest, coolest camp on the east side of America. On the way up, we stayed at the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier and rode in a charter bus! I am thankful to have had this experience. Leader James Rice recognized this as a once in a life time opportunity. Right when they had returned from this trip, it was home for a day then they headed off to summer camp for a week.
