While on scene of a stolen semi-truck and trailer Saturday, deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office faced another pressing situation. Fernando, age 5, wondered away from his Immokalee home and become lost. Seeing the deputies on Main Street, Fernando made his way up to them looking for help. Community Service Deputy Letty Salls took Fernando aside and gathered enough information from him to begin looking for his parents. After a brief search, Fernando’s home was located off Veronica Lane. Deputies were then able to reunite Fernando with his parents.
