At its March 26, 2019, meeting the Collier County Board of County Commissioners proclaimed National Library Week in Collier County, April 7 through April 13. The Collier County Public Library will join libraries across the county in celebrating the many ways libraries build strong communities. Libraries provide critical resources, programs and expertise and use National Library Week to highlight the valuable role libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and communities.
Did you know Collier County Public Library has 208,352 library card users? Last year the 10 public library locations welcomed more than one million visitors who checked out more than two million library items and attended more than 80,000 library programs for children, tweens, teens and adults.
Throughout the county, from Everglades City to Immokalee, your Collier County Public Library partners with national, state and local organizations for summer reading and adult programs that are both educational and fun.
