DAR make masks

Posted

Members of the USS Hannah Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution have been busy sewing masks for use by local health care professionals in the fight against the COVID-19 Virus. So far, the women have sewn and delivered over 500 masks to hospitals and physician’s offices and have received a request to sew 100 more. DAR Chapters nationwide are working on this project. The USS Hannah Chapter is located in Alva, with members from Alva, Lehigh Acres, LaBelle and Immokalee. If you are a woman 18 years of age or older, can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War and are interested in joining DAR, we are ready to assist you in your endeavor to find your forefathers or mothers. We are here to help! For more information, contact usshannahnsdar.org or email USSHannahdarRegistrar@gmail.com or LeighAnnDAR@aol.com ~
