LaBelle Little League had two baseball teams win the District 18 Title this summer. The major division was made up of players the ages of 10, 11 and 12. The junior division was made up of 13 and 14 year olds. Both teams were undefeated during the tournament series. The major team played a total of four games and won the games with a total score of 64-1. The junior team played three games and won all three games with a total score of 39-3. Florida’s District 18 of Little League is made up of teams from LaBelle, Immokalee, San Carlos, Bonita Springs, Lehigh and Fort Myers Beach. The tournament games were played at Lehigh Little League from June 23 - 27. The tournament was a round robin style where each team played everybody and the team with the most wins was crowned the champion. Both LaBelle teams made it easy to determine the winner by being undefeated. Both teams advanced to Sectional play. We would like to congratulate both teams’ players and coaches on a job well done!
