Posted
Special to the Immokalee Bulletin
Lilly Bass Church of God in Unity, Inc. established the Elder Rosetta Hooks Scholarship in her honor to help a young man or woman who will be attending college. This year we were able to bless two students with the Elder Rosetta Hooks Scholarship by awarding them $500 each. The 2018 scholarship recipients are: E’fennadi Anderson is a graduate from Immokalee High School and is seeking a degree in nursing which will lead to fulfilling her dream on becoming an Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). Her extracurricular activities included: being a member of the Track Team, Colorguard, National BETA Club, Girls in Action and Acteens a missionary program for adolescent girls. E’fennadi will be attending iTech. Fredrick Green, Jr. is a graduate of Immokalee High school where he excelled in his college prep classes. In high school he was a member of the football team. Some of his football achievements include MVP title, SWFL Player of the year, 1st offense all team, All Star FACA player and the Broxson Trophy. Fredrick received a scholarship to attend MercyHurst University in Erie, PA seeking a degree in Business. He plans on working hard on and off the field. We congratulate the 2018 Elder Rosetta Hooks Scholarship Recipients.
