Special to the Immokalee Bulletin
The Immokalee Ministerial Alliance would like to invite ALL believers in Jesus Christ to attend the annual community Easter Sunrise Service Easter Sunday morning, April 1, at 7:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church at the corner of Roberts and 11th Street North. The service is scheduled to go from 7:30-8:45 followed by a free, delicious breakfast prepared by lovely ladies from our local churches… it will be held in the Fellowship Hall at the Methodist Church. Our service will be conducted outdoors on the basketball court, so we ask that you bring along a lawn chair to use during the service. Our speaker this year will be Pastor Evens Saint Louis, pastor of Beraca Haitian Baptist Church. We will have some lively music for congregational singing, and special music led by others including the Maranatha Church youth and adult choir. Scriptures will be shared in English, Spanish and Creole, and we invite the entire community to join with us for this festive occasion. A free-will offering will be received which will go in total to support the Immokalee High School Scholarship Fund that will be given to three or four deserving graduates this year.
