To the amazing people in Okeechobee...please consider attending one of Okeechobee’s most valuable events -- The “lifesaving” Okeechobee Blood Roundup.

It is 2025, a good time to celebrate ‘past’ Blood Roundup events and eagerly look forward to the 21st annual Okeechobee Blood Roundup, which will be held Nov. 22 & 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Freshman Campus Auditorium.

The director and Roundup volunteers appreciate the dedication of Okeechobee’s citizens who support each year’s drive by donating blood. All donors can be proud of the fact that, up to the upcoming date of November 2025, The Roundup will have drawn a total of 6,800 units of blood -- on The Blood Roundup -- for more than 20 years.

We can proudly say that our local blood donors have not only donated blood for Okeechobee, but for lives throughout Florida. We continue to encourage your presence at The Roundup because every blood donation means more lives saved. It also means that every donor will receive a gift donated by one of the many Okeechobee businesses that support The Blood Roundup.

Last year The Roundup drew a total of 87 units of blood, and is determined to top that number this year. One Blood is the name of the company which draws and processes Okeechobee’s blood, from donors who “roll up their sleeves and give, knowing that each donation has the power to save at least three lives.

The Blood Roundup volunteers thank you, and all the businesses in Okeechobee, who step up, every year, to donate prizes for us to hand out to blood donors, while The Blood Roundup continues SAVING LIVES.

The Blood Roundup volunteers salute your generosity and the help of our local businesses, which becomes an incentive to save even more Okeechobee lives.

Until we get to see you at The Roundup, we ask that you continue donating your Life-Saving Blood.

Many thanks,
Raye Deusinger
