Be kind and patient as evacuees pass through

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — Over the next week, Okeechobee will be reminded by the overflow of traffic that many people are going home to the unknown in the western coastal region of our state.

As they come through our community let us please, have patience and compassion while dealing with longer than normal lines for gas, traffic intersections, and food.
For the most part we here in Okeechobee, we're lucky.
We thank everyone as we restore “normalcy” in our community, and keep those that have a new “normal” they are going home to.
We keep you all close to our hearts and in our continued prayers as we as a people deal with the aftermath of this devastating and deadly storm.
OCSO, Hurricane Ian
