OKEECHOBEE — Information released by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office confirms that a body was found on the railroad tracks early this morning, Feb. 26.
It appears the man was hit by a train. There is no information on where the body was found. The person who reported the body said it appeared to have been recent. Trains were stopped as the accident was investigated this morning.
