OKEECHOBEE -- Everglades Baptist Church held a Spring Festival on Saturday, April 16. The church family celebrated Easter with games, stories, crafts, cotton candy, snow cones and of course, an Easter egg hunt. Kim Hoglo, who organized the event, said there were so many eggs donated that each child was able to take home a basket full. There were approximately 120 people in attendance and many came back the next morning for the sunrise service.
Everglades Baptist Church meets on their church property, located across the street from Everglades Elementary School's bus loop at 3725 SE 8th Street.
Services begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by family connect ( Sunday School) at 10:45. Bring your own chair or use one of the church's metal folding chairs.
