Easter Poem 2026

Posted

Easter every year is a reminder that God so loved this world that He sacrificed His only-begotten Son, Jesus, to say that all you have to do is accept His free gift, believe on Jesus His Son, and be saved for eternity.

Don’t let this Easter go by without following the simple steps outlined by God to gain your salvation and eternal peace.

Uppermost in my mind at Easter is this little poem:

“I heard the awful story told of Jesus crucified;
how once he took a lowly form and there at Calvary died.
I saw by faith the judgment fall; by faith I heard His cry;
I knew for me He suffered pain; for me He stooped to die.
I saw Him then ascended high; up to His Father’s throne;
I knew His victory set me free; His triumph is my own.”
