OKEECHOBEE – Helping People Succeed is sponsoring a month-long baby shower in April for infants and toddlers served through the Healthy Families program. Healthy Families offers services to families through home visits with family support workers. Visits start after the birth of the baby and can continue until the child’s fifth birthday.

Approximately 325 children under the age of five are served through this program, which plays an integral role in the stages of infant and childhood development.

Donations sought include toys, baby clothing, books, diapers, wipes, blankets and anything a young child might need.

• Rock Solid Christian Academy, 401 SW 4th St., Okeechobee;

• Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 901 SW 6th Street, Okeechobee.
