OKEECHOBEE -- Hospice of Okeechobee will host a commemorative tree and candle lighting ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Hamrick House, 411 S.E. Fourth Street, Okeechobee.
The gathering will offer families and community members to celebrate and remember their loved ones. Attendees will light candles, enjoy musical performances and holiday songs and hear words of comfort delivered by staff. Guests are invited to bring a framed photo of their loved one for display on the Remembrance table.
The event is free and open to the public.
