OKEECHOBEE –– Here is an update on the current status of the Huey project.
If anyone has experience with digging fence post holes or excavating depths greater than four feet, you are likely familiar with the issue of encountering water. Digging a hole measuring 10 feet by 10 feet by 10 feet deep will inevitably result in a significant amount of water accumulation, particularly given the recent rainfall.
We are presently exploring options such as well points and other alternatives, in addition to determining the best course of action for managing the excess water, as discharge into storm drains is not permissible.
We are actively working to resolve this issue and anticipate a solution shortly.
