Jenna Larson chosen 2026 Florida Cattlemen's Sweetheart

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — Jenna Larson was selected to represent the Florida Cattlemen's Association as the 2026 Sweetheart.

“Hi! My name is Jenna Larson, and I'm proud to represent Okeechobee County as their candidate for the Florida Cattlemen's Sweetheart contest," she stated. "I grew up working alongside my family in their dairy and beef businesses. I have a passion for working with cattle and for promoting the nutritional and sustainable value of animal-sourced proteins, especially beef! I am finishing up my junior year at the University of Florida, where I am majoring in Animal Sciences. I am an active member of the Dairy Science Club and Block and Bridle organization here at UF. This summer, along with attending the Florida Cattlemen's Convention, I will be completing an internship on a dairy farm in Kansas. After the completion of my Bachelor's, I would like to pursue a Master's degree with a focus on ruminant nutrition or physiology. I'm excited to see where this venture takes me and to meet fellow cattlemen and women along the way!”
