OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Ministerial Association (OMA) will lead the 2025 National Day of Prayer Observance on Thursday, May 1 at noon, on the Courthouse lawn between the Historic Courthouse and the Judicial Building, 312 NW 3rd St.
This annual observance was initially signed into law in 1952 by President Eisenhower. Local government officials and pastors will assemble to pray for all aspects of our country, county and city’s administration. Music included.
Come, participate in this unique privilege to gather and pray for the community of Okeechobee. All are welcome! Pizza and a beverage will be provided free by the Kiwanis. Bring a lawn chair!
